Description of Waste Away

Waste Away is a commercial grade maintenance product formulated to reduce odor and act as a digesting agent in the decomposition of a wide variety of organic waste.  Among many things, Waste Away is designed to work in swine pits.  

Features

·         Designed to control odor by converting anaerobic conditions into aerobic conditions resulting in odorless by products of 02, C02 H20 instead of septic odor of discharge of ammonia and hydrogen sulfate.

·         Concentrated source of hydrolytic (degrading) bacteria and enzymes capable of digesting certain organic polymers, thus helping to liquefy organic accumulations.

·         Positively affects the solubility of manures, starches and proteins by digesting these organic waste materials.

Application Rate and Process

When being used in swine pits one gallon per month per single size pit.  A single size pit consists of roughly 1200 head of hogs.  When used in double sized pits, two gallons of Waste Away per month.   Top apply product, simply pour through floor boards of the pit in several locations.  

Results

·         Significant reduction in the amount of flies surrounding the waste material.

·         Reduction in odor.

·         Reduction in development of crusting and already existing crust.

·         Higher microbial population in manure resulting in among other things, a breakdown of b.t stalks when spread and a higher yield on the next year’s crop.
